Hello all!! It has been awhile since my last blog post and I just want to check in a give everyone a few updates 🙂
#1: A new country has been added!!!!! Instead of staying in Swaziland for three months the girls will be heading to Jeffery’s Bay, South Africa for one month of intentional ministry. During our time in J-Bay we will be serving alongside the Global Leadership Academy (GLA). My team will be teaching classes, working on projects, and in the afternoons our team will be involved in community outreach. I am so so excited for this new change and cannot wait to see what this place holds for all of us girls.

#2: COVID-19: It is scary and its real. It has me and a lot of others anxious. Will we have a prom, or graduation? Will my squad and I leave in September?! There is a lot of unknowns and questions no one has the answers too. It sucks, but the only thing we can do is to remain positive, prayerful, and trust that this is all part of a bigger plan. March 13, Adventures in Missions decided to send home all World Racers, Gap Students, and Semesters back to the US. They are confident that all trips will launch in the summer and have not made any cancellations past May. If for any reason the decision is made to cancel our trip, you are offered a refund per YOUR request.
#3: Fundraising: I haven’t been doing my best. Buttt, with all that is going on I have made a goal to become half-way funded (7,900) by May 1. My last round of t-shirts was just ordered, & I am thinking of new ideas for raising money. If you have any ideas PLEASE send them my way!!! 😉
